Headaches – Severe and/or with Jaw Pain

While headaches have many different sources, in general they are either related to tension or hormones. Tension headaches typically involve the neck and shoulder muscles.

Neck Pain

Persistent neck pain is common, possibly because it’s the byproduct of so many of our daily activities, from driving our cars to hunching over our computers.
Neck pain can also be a result of your breathing patterns.

If the diaphragm (the primary muscle used to inhale) is weak or doesn’t do its job well, the muscles in the upper chest (Pectoralis Minor) and throat (Sternocleidomastoid and Scalenes) try to take over. Unfortunately, these muscles just aren’t built for routine respiration, and they can exhaust themselves to the point of irritation, injury, or, you guessed it—neck pain.

Massage treatments can provide both quick and long term relief for neck pain. Massage of the neck itself may provide nearly instantaneous comfort. Thorough massage of all the neck, face, jaw, head and throat muscles promotes full healing and restoration of function.
